Description - MechVape x Nitrous Pocket 80W Box Mod
The MechVape x Nitrous Pocket 80W Box Mod is a compact single-18650 vape mod combining up to 80W of adjustable power with distinctive retro-inspired styling. Created as a collaboration between MechVape and Nitrous, the Pocket features Koko Sarang-designed panels inspired by vintage cassette players, VHS equipment and classic audio hardware.
Despite its compact 82mm tall chassis, the Nitrous Pocket offers much more control than a basic everyday mod. Its MechChip supports a 5W to 80W output range alongside WATT, VOLT and four temperature-control modes, giving experienced vapers plenty of flexibility when pairing the device with different tanks and rebuildable atomisers.
The Pocket is powered by a single removable 18650 vape battery, which is sold separately, and its spring-loaded 510 connection accommodates tanks and atomisers up to approximately 24mm in diameter. Compact 80W Single-Battery Performance
The Nitrous Pocket uses a single external 18650 battery while providing adjustable output from 5W up to 80W. This gives the mod enough flexibility for anything from lower-powered rebuildable tanks through to higher-powered sub-ohm setups, provided the installed atomiser and battery are suitable for the selected output.
Using a removable battery also means you can replace a depleted cell with a charged spare rather than having to stop using the device while it charges. A battery is not included, so you will need a suitable high-drain 18650 cell before using the mod.

Six Adjustable Vaping Modes
The MechVape x Nitrous Pocket offers considerably more adjustment than a simple wattage-only device. Its six operating modes allow experienced users to configure the mod around their preferred atomiser and coil material.
- WATT: Standard adjustable wattage mode for everyday vaping.
- VOLT: Direct adjustable voltage control.
- TC-SS: Temperature control for compatible stainless-steel coils.
- TC-NI: Temperature control for compatible nickel coils.
- TC-TI: Temperature control for compatible titanium coils.
- TC-TCR: Custom temperature coefficient adjustment for advanced coil setups.
For most users pairing the Pocket with a conventional sub-ohm tank or RTA, standard WATT mode will be the simplest choice.
Retro Koko Sarang Panel Designs
One of the standout features of the Nitrous Pocket is its visual design. Rather than using conventional carbon-fibre or leather-style mod panels, the device takes inspiration from retro cassette players, VHS machines, analogue audio equipment and vintage electronics.
The range is divided into Black Edition and Peek Edition versions. Black Edition models use darker chassis and panel combinations, while Peek Edition models use cream and vintage-inspired tones. Each edition is available with four different panel designs.
This makes the Pocket particularly suited to vapers who want a compact regulated mod that looks noticeably different from standard mass-market box mods.
510 Tank and Atomiser Compatibility
A spring-loaded 510 connector on top of the MechVape x Nitrous Pocket allows it to be paired with a wide selection of compatible vape tanks, RTAs and RDAs.
Atomisers up to approximately 24mm in diameter are the best fit for the compact chassis and should sit cleanly on top of the device without excessive overhang.
The Pocket can also be used with the separately available MechVape x Nitrous Pocket Pod Cartridges. These use a 510 connection and are available with built-in 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω coils.
USB-C Charging
A USB-C port provides convenient in-device charging when required, with support for up to 2A charging.
