Faulty Goods

Description - Vaporesso Armour Octa 220W Vape Mod
The Vaporesso Armour Octa 220W Vape Mod is a rugged dual-18650 box mod designed for experienced vapers who want high power, replaceable batteries and extensive device protection without being tied to a particular tank. Powered by Vaporesso's AXON 3.0 chipset, the Armour Octa can deliver up to 220W and supports a range of operating modes for greater control over power delivery.
Built as the next evolution of Vaporesso's Armour platform, the Octa combines a reinforced exterior with water, dust, waterjet and impact resistance alongside additional Battery Guard, charging and overtime protections. A standard 510 connection allows the mod to be paired with a wide range of compatible vape tanks and rebuildable atomisers.
This is the mod-only version. A vape tank, coils and 18650 batteries are not included.

Up To 220W With AXON 3.0
The Vaporesso Armour Octa Mod is powered by the AXON 3.0 chipset and offers adjustable output from 5W up to a maximum of 220W. This broad power range means the mod can support everything from moderate-wattage compatible tanks through to demanding sub-ohm configurations.
The actual wattage you should select depends on the tank and coil installed. Always follow the coil manufacturer's recommended operating range rather than simply using the maximum output available from the mod.
Multiple Vaping Modes
The AXON 3.0 platform gives experienced users several ways to control the Armour Octa's output.
Boost Mode
Vaporesso's upgraded Boost Mode is designed to enhance and stabilise continuous power delivery, producing a stronger response from compatible coils.
Pulse Mode
Pulse Mode provides Vaporesso's characteristic pulsed power delivery throughout the draw, offering an alternative to conventional constant wattage operation.
Eco Mode
Eco Mode places greater emphasis on efficient power usage when conserving battery life is the priority.
Temperature Control
Temperature Control provides additional adjustment for advanced users running compatible temperature-control coil materials and builds.
Dual 18650 Vape Mod
The Armour Octa is powered by two removable 18650 batteries, giving high-wattage users the flexibility to replace depleted cells with a charged matched pair.
The batteries are not supplied. For dual-battery devices, always use a suitable matched pair of high-drain 18650 cells that have been purchased and used together. Do not mix batteries of different models, capacities, ages or conditions.
Industry-First Battery Guard Protection
Vaporesso has placed particular emphasis on external battery safety with the Armour Octa. Its Battery Guard system incorporates Voltage Surge Protection, designed to reduce risks associated with differences between the two installed cells.
The device can cut output when the voltage difference between the batteries exceeds Vaporesso's specified threshold, adding another layer of protection alongside good external battery practices.
Charging Overheat Protection
The Armour Octa supports USB Type-C charging at up to DC 5V/2.5A. Vaporesso's charging protection system monitors temperature and is designed to stop charging if the specified temperature threshold is exceeded.
For regular external-battery users, a dedicated quality battery charger can also be useful for charging and monitoring matched battery pairs.
Overtime 2.0 Protection
The Armour Octa's Overtime 2.0 system is designed to reduce the risk of prolonged accidental firing. An initial extended activation causes the output to stop, while a repeated overtime event within two minutes can cause the mod to power off.

The Armour series has always focused heavily on durability, and the Armour Octa takes that concept further with multiple layers of environmental and impact protection.
IPX8 Water Resistance
Vaporesso specifies the mod as capable of withstanding immersion to a depth of approximately one metre for more than 30 minutes under its controlled test conditions.
IPX9K Waterjet Resistance
The Armour Octa is also designed to withstand high-pressure water jets, adding protection against demanding wet and dirty environments beyond ordinary splash resistance.
IP6X Dust Protection
The sealed construction is designed to prevent fine dust from entering the protected device enclosure.
MIL-STD-810H Drop Testing
Vaporesso states that the Armour Octa has been tested for drops from 1.2 metres across 26 different angles, supported by impact-absorbing TPU material and reinforced construction.
These ratings relate to the Armour Octa mod under specified testing conditions. A connected tank or atomiser should not be assumed to carry the same protection rating.
Reinforced Yet Comfortable Design
The Armour Octa combines its protective cage structure with a soft, anti-slip silicone surface. Vaporesso compares the material to the type of silicone used on motorcycle grips, with the aim of creating a secure and comfortable hold during everyday use.
An anti-collision pad helps absorb impacts while the Type-C port is protected by a silicone cover. The device also features a simple swipe-to-lock control, making it easier to secure the settings before carrying the mod.
0.96-Inch TFT Display
A colour 0.96-inch TFT display presents the Armour Octa's important vaping information and settings without requiring an oversized screen. Adjustment buttons provide direct control over wattage and device menus.
What Tanks Work With The Vaporesso Armour Octa Mod?
The Armour Octa uses a standard 510 connection, allowing it to work with a wide selection of compatible vape tanks and rebuildable atomisers.
Vaporesso pairs the device with the iTank T in the complete Armour Octa Kit, but purchasing the mod separately gives existing users the freedom to continue using their preferred suitable 510 tank.
Always check that the resistance and recommended wattage of the installed coil or build are suitable for the device and batteries being used.
