Returns & Delivery Policy
1) Introduction & Overview
Shopping with us online is easy — and you’re covered by the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (the modern “distance selling” rules). These regulations give you the right to cancel most online purchases if the goods aren’t what you expected.
2) Your Right to Cancel (Cooling‑Off)

You may cancel your order within 14 days from the day after you receive the goods.

After cancelling, you must return the goods within a reasonable period. We’ll refund any sums paid (see exclusions/fees below) within 30 days of cancellation or receipt of returns.

If an order has already been dispatched, postage paid is not refundable once the parcel is in transit.
Inspection vs. Use
You may examine goods as you would in a shop. If you use the goods (e.g. installing a battery, fitting or firing a mod with an atomiser, filling a tank, changing settings), you may lose your right to cancel. We may deduct up to the full retail value for any used/damaged goods.
3) Returns Due to Incorrect Address or Refused Delivery
If you enter an incorrect address or refuse delivery/collection and the parcel is returned to Vaping 101, you’ll be liable for the return‑to‑sender fee charged by the carrier:

If you cancel the order while it’s being returned to us, we will wait until the parcel arrives back. Your refund will be minus your original postage and the return‑to‑sender fee.
4) Returns: Care of Goods & Conditions
To qualify for a refund or exchange:

Keep all original packaging — it contains the manufacturer’s serial number required for warranty support.

If the box/packaging is not returned, we can only offer a like‑for‑like replacement (we retain the box and send the replacement item only).

Goods must be complete (all accessories, cables/leads, inserts) and undamaged, with proof of purchase.

It’s your responsibility to ensure the goods reach us; we recommend Royal Mail Special Delivery or Signed For services as appropriate.

Failure to return items as above may result in charges for recovery costs or the standalone retail value of missing/damaged items.
5) Exclusions & Hygiene Policy
For health, safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns for:

E‑liquids, tanks, coils, pods, or any product that is personalised, perishable, or time‑critical.

Any e‑liquid or tank that has been unsealed or used in any way.
-
Coils and pods may only be returned if the blister pack remains intact.
We reserve the right to apply a restocking fee for unwanted or non‑faulty items and, in some cases, charge up to the full retail value where goods are returned used or incomplete.

Postage refunds on faulty items: where goods are confirmed faulty, we will refund return postage up to £3.00. If goods are not faulty, return postage is not refunded and you’ll need to pay postage for any return back to you.
7) Dispatch & Delivery

Order cut‑offs: Orders placed before 2pm (DPD 1pm cut‑off) ship same day. Orders placed after 2pm ship the next working day.

Shipping days: Monday–Friday.

During sale periods, dispatch may take an extra working day due to order volume.
Lost, Delayed or Missing Items

If an item has not arrived, Royal Mail/DPD/UPS require that you wait 10 working days from the date of dispatch. If it still hasn’t arrived after this period, we will send a replacement.

By ordering from Vaping 101, you accept these carrier terms. Postage fees are not refunded for late deliveries.
Disputed Delivery

If tracking shows Delivered but you haven’t received the item, please check with neighbours first.

We will investigate with the courier. This can take at least 10 working days (UK) and 30 working days for international.

If the courier confirms delivery to the correct address (e.g. GPS + signature), we will require a crime report to proceed further. We appreciate this is frustrating, but it’s the only way to progress when delivery is confirmed.
8) Pre‑Orders

Dates provided for pre‑orders are manufacturer estimates and may slip.

We aim to have stock on the official UK launch date and ship that day.

Mixed orders: if your order includes a pre‑order item, the entire order ships together when the pre‑order arrives.
9) Important Device Use & Vaping Tips (Please Read Before Returning)

Tanks / RDAs / RTAs: Prevent leaks — persistent leaking can cause device issues. Please consult reputable guides on stopping tank leaks.

Squonkers: Don’t overfill or over‑squonk. There is a learning curve; leaking RDAs can cause problems.
-
Mods/Devices: Only charge via USB if the battery is built‑in. Otherwise use a dedicated external charger. Avoid drops; keep devices dry; prevent liquid leaks; use appropriate, undamaged batteries (replace damaged wraps; use matched pairs). Mods are not waterproof.

Advanced & Mechanical Devices: Know Ohm’s Law and battery safety. You are wholly responsible for staying within device and battery limits.

Storage: Don’t carry devices loose in pockets; strain on tanks/510 connections can cause failures.
These simple steps prevent most issues. Costs arising from misuse or neglect are not covered by Vaping 101.
10) Images Disclaimer
All images are for reference only. Colour tones, glass, and other cosmetic details may differ from photos.
11) International Shipping (DDU/DAP)

All international shipments are on a DDU/DAP (Delivered Duty Unpaid / Delivered at Place) basis.

UK VAT is not charged on international orders.

The buyer is responsible for all licenses, import taxes/duties, inspection costs, and risks after the goods are placed at the buyer’s disposal.

If goods are refused at destination, or customs fees remain unpaid, Vaping 101 may deduct return shipping, destruction costs, or outstanding customs fees from any refund due.

We sometimes see customs delays in destination countries; this is outside our control. UPS is generally faster than Royal Mail internationally and avoids some of the queues we’ve observed with Royal Mail.
12) Age of Consent & Age Verification
You may only purchase from our site if you are at least 18 years old. Vaping 101 uses 1account to confirm customers are of legal age (recommended by Trading Standards; PAS 1296:2018; ISO 27001 certified). If you falsely declare your age, you are responsible for all costs, losses, fines, or penalties we incur as a result.

Prices & Payment: Prices shown include UK VAT (where applicable); international orders show prices without VAT. We may cancel orders where errors occur. During sales, discount codes and reward points are disabled.

Risk & Ownership: Risk passes on receipt/collection. Ownership passes only after full payment. Until then, please keep goods safe and identifiable as our property and return them on request.

Note: We primarily use 1account for age verification (see Section 12). 1account may be used where additional checks are required.
