Wallid is a UK-based fintech that adds a Pay-by-Bank option to online checkouts (including Shopify). It’s built to reduce fees and fraud while keeping checkout smooth for shoppers. Recent updates include a dynamic checkout experience that tailors payment options to you.

This uses UK/EU Open Banking rails — you never type card details into our site.

Security & Privacy
Payments are initiated by you in your own banking app using your bank’s security (e.g., biometrics/passcode). Card numbers are never entered or stored on Vaping 101 when you choose Pay-by-Bank. This approach is designed to cut fraud and remove chargebacks for this payment type.

Wallid supports Pay-by-Bank for GBP and EUR across the UK & EU, and works alongside our usual payment methods. If your bank isn’t shown at checkout, just pick a different payment method.
Refunds & Order Support
If you pay with Wallid and need a refund, we’ll process it back to your bank account. Refund timing depends on your bank’s processing times. If you have any issues, contact Vaping 101 Support and we’ll help right away.

Yes. Pay-by-Bank uses your bank’s Strong Customer Authentication (for example Face/Touch ID or your banking passcode), and you never share card numbers with us. It runs over UK Open Banking rails, designed to enhance security and reduce fraud.
No account is required. Just choose Wallid at checkout and confirm the payment in your bank app.
Most major UK banks support Pay-by-Bank. If you don’t see your bank listed during checkout, please choose another payment method. (Wallid supports payments in GBP and EUR across the UK & EU.)
No. Vaping 101 doesn’t add customer surcharges for Wallid/Pay-by-Bank.
Yes vouchers, loyalty points, and promotions work exactly the same regardless of your payment method.
Common reasons include bank timeouts, daily transfer limits, or declined security checks. Try again, pick a different bank account (if you have one), or use another payment method. If it keeps happening, contact our support and we’ll help.
Because Pay-by-Bank is a direct bank transfer, refunds aren’t processed through card networks. We’ll send your refund back to your bank account by bank transfer; in some cases, we may ask you to confirm your account details to make sure it goes to the right place. Refunds usually appear within 1–3 working days (bank-dependent).
Card-specific protections like Section 75 (credit cards) and chargeback (card schemes) don’t apply to Pay-by-Bank transfers. You still have full rights under UK consumer law and our store policies and we’ll support you directly if anything goes wrong.
Your bank statement may show Wallid and/or Vaping 101 as the payment reference the amount will match your order total.
Pay-by-Bank is a one-off payment. For recurring payments/subscriptions, please use a payment method that supports automatic billing.
Limits come from your bank’s transfer rules. If you’re making a large purchase and your bank has a low per-payment limit, you may need to raise the limit in your banking app or choose another method.
Check your spam/junk folder. If there’s still nothing after a few minutes, contact us with your name and the payment time; we can locate the transaction and confirm your order.
