OXVA VPrime 2 Ultra-Auto Draw

One of the standout features of the OXVA VPrime 2 is its Ultra-Auto Draw system. Rather than needing to hold the fire button every time you vape, the device can detect your inhale and activate automatically.

This makes the VPrime 2 unusually straightforward for a device capable of producing up to 60W. If you prefer traditional controls, the physical fire button remains available, so you can switch between draw activation and button firing depending on how you like to use the device.

3400mAh Battery with 60W Maximum Output

The VPrime 2 houses a 3400mAh built-in battery, making it one of the highest-capacity devices in the OXVA pod range.

Power can be adjusted from 5W to 60W. Lower power settings can help reduce battery and e-liquid consumption, while higher settings provide the warmer vapour and increased vapour production associated with RDL and DTL vaping.

When it is time to recharge, 5V/3A USB-C fast charging significantly increases the available charging rate compared with the 5V/2A system used by the original VPrime.

UniTech 3.0 Dual Mesh Pods

The biggest change to the vaping system itself is the introduction of OXVA VPrime Dual Mesh Pods with UniTech 3.0 technology.

Instead of a conventional single heating element, the new cartridges use a dual mesh arrangement alongside a redesigned internal airflow path and enlarged chamber. The system is designed to provide faster, more even heating while improving liquid management inside the pod.

OXVA claims the UniTech 3.0 platform can deliver improvements in flavour consistency, pod lifespan and leak resistance compared with its previous technology. As with all manufacturer performance figures, actual results will vary depending on e-liquid, power setting and usage.

What Do Boost and Eco Modes Do?

The Dual Mesh design allows the VPrime 2 to alter how the heating system behaves depending on the selected mode.

• Eco Mode: prioritises efficiency, reducing power consumption for longer battery life and a more restrained vape.
• Boost Mode: prioritises performance, producing a warmer vape with increased vapour output.

This gives the same pod noticeably different characteristics without requiring you to physically change coils.

OXVA VPrime 2 Pod Resistance Guide

The 0.4Ω Dual Mesh Pod provides the more open and warmer vape of the two included options and is particularly well suited to high-VG e-liquids and shortfills.

The 0.6Ω Dual Mesh Pod gives you a slightly tighter RDL draw and is better suited to thinner 50/50 e-liquids.

What E-Liquid Should I Use in the OXVA VPrime 2?

OXVA states that its UniTech 3.0 system can be used with both freebase and nicotine salt e-liquids. However, the VPrime 2 is a relatively powerful sub-ohm pod system, so e-liquid should be matched carefully to the pod and wattage being used.

• 0.4Ω Pod: best suited to high-VG or 70VG/30PG e-liquid and lower nicotine strengths.
• 0.6Ω Pod: best suited to 50VG/50PG e-liquid and lower-output RDL vaping.

High-strength nicotine salts are normally intended for lower-powered MTL devices. If you want to use nic salt e-liquid with the VPrime 2, choose an appropriate lower nicotine strength and begin at the lower end of the recommended power range.

0.98-Inch Colour Display

A 0.98-inch colour screen gives you a clear overview of important device information including selected wattage, battery level and pod resistance.

The display is slightly larger than the 0.96-inch screen used on the previous VPrime and makes checking or adjusting your settings straightforward without adding unnecessary complexity to the device.

Adjustable Ergonomic AFC Airflow

The VPrime 2 features adjustable airflow, allowing the draw to be changed independently from the wattage.

Opening the airflow provides an airier inhale suited to higher-power RDL or DTL vaping, while reducing airflow creates a more restricted draw. This makes it easier to tune the same pod around your preferred balance of warmth, vapour and resistance.

The maximum power remains at 60W, but almost everything surrounding that power has been upgraded. The larger battery, faster charging and new Dual Mesh system make the VPrime 2 a meaningful update rather than simply a cosmetic refresh.

OXVA VPrime Pod Compatibility

The VPrime 2 is designed around the new VPrime Dual Mesh 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω Pods, but it also maintains compatibility with original VPrime cartridges.

Operating behaviour and available modes can differ when using previous-generation cartridges, so the new Dual Mesh versions are recommended if you want to make full use of the VPrime 2's Boost and Eco system.

How to Set Up the OXVA VPrime 2

1. Remove the VPrime 2 and pod from the packaging.
2. Open the pod's filling port.
3. Fill the pod with a suitable e-liquid without overfilling.
4. Close the filling port securely.
5. For a new pod, allow the e-liquid time to fully saturate the wick before vaping.
6. Insert the pod into the device.
7. Check the detected resistance and selected power on the screen.
8. Adjust the airflow to your preferred draw.
9. Inhale to activate automatically or use the fire button.

Priming a fresh pod correctly before first use helps prevent dry or burnt hits and can improve the usable lifespan of the built-in coil.
